Hello all -
Tomorrow morning is the big pick up. One last trip to the orphanage. The judge signed the papers today, and the 10 day wait ends tomorrow. We leave in the morning, and after picking up Sergei, we need to get all his important paperwork (birth certificate, etc) Today we went shopping for baby food stuff (not just nacho chips and salsa) Something called fruit and juice. The boys were very good today. I can't help thinking about what Sergei's first car ride, plane ride, meal in a restaurant....is going to be like. Our passports were taken for some paperwork things, so we were under house arrest in the hotel. We had the newest couple go out on a beer run. Beer is much cheaper in the grocery store, 18 rubbles; out on the square it's 50 rubbles. Attached is a photo of our favorite brand. And one of Sergei at snack time. Wish us luck tomorrow :)

P.S.
Phillip wants to know if he is eating a Pop Tart.
This little guy has no idea how many prayers have been said in his name nor how fantastically his life will change.
This is all so exciting.

Hi,
I talked to Millie today. She said that Terrie made it to the hospital OK and that they drove awhile yesterday. She said they didn't have any trouble. Also said they should be home around 5 today. Said the kids miss them. Just thought you would like an update.
Sergie looks so HAPPY in all his pictures. Mom looks Wonderfully Happy too!
take care and get some rest!
Love, Aunt Kathy and Uncle Bob
I'm so happy for you I could sing a song... but i'm stuck on whether to sing Frank Sinata..."and now the end is near and so"....forth.....or Barbra Streisand...."you've only just begun!" I'm hoping and prayin that the next few days will be the most wonderful ones of your lives so far and that the transition from the orphanage to the hotel goes smoothly. I'm sure you guys are on pins and needles....Keep the faith and know that we're all behind you. Love, Terri
